This property was actually our own project. In 2021 we bought a quirky-ranch style house built in the mid 80's that was crying out for a total facelift!

STYLE | Modern industrial with a definite nod to traditional Australian farmhouses from the early - mid 1900's. We wanted to create a home for guests to stay and enjoy a luxurious holiday but, also have them interact with curious vintage decor items which would have been common in the area in a bygone era. We spent a year scouring vintage stores whilst completely renovating the property and the garden, before opening 'Sable Mae' as a short stay holiday destination.

We completely re-designed the front garden, planting olive trees, small conifers and interesting ground cover. Every aspect of the home was carefully considered to create a special guest experience...and the result was a beautiful and very popular home. We recently sold 'Sable Mae' but she will always have a special place in our hearts :)
